John De Coito
John “Johnny” L. De Coito of Waimea died July 15, 2016, at the Kona Community Hospital. Born Feb. 18, 1928, in Hilo, he was a maintenance worker at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and an auto mechanic.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. July 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. Mass. A 2 p.m. burial will be at Homelani Memorial Park. The family requests casual attire worn and flowers are welcome.
He is survived by daughters, Johnna (Darryl) Kaai De Coito, Johnnelle (Matthew) Chun, all of Waimea, Johnnette (Michael) De Coito-Gali-Sasaoka of Holualoa; son, Jonathan (Terri) De Coito of Honokaa; hanai daughters, Betty Ann Kaneshiro, Betty Jean Kaneshiro, both of Waimea; sister, Delia Cox of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Precious Dickens
Precious Kauiokapuamelia Linaka Dickens, 15, of Kailua-Kona, died July 8, 2016. Born Dec. 30, 2000, in Kailua-Kona, she attended Konawaena High School in Kealakekua.
Viewing with family and friends only, will be held from 3-5 p.m. July 22 at Ballard Family Mortuary- Hilo. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. July 24 the residence of Linda Kahihikolo in Kailua-Kona. Condolences may be posted at ballardfamilymortuaries.com.
She is survived by mother, Sloan (Corbin Brueche) Oandasan of Kailua-Kona; father, Calvin Dickens of Kailua-Kona; grandparents, Linda (Bernie Gaspar) Kahihikolo of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Preston Dickens, Payton Dickens, Dean Kahihikolo and Ronald Kahihikolo, all of Kailua-Kona; uncles, Ronald and Tyler of Kailua-Kona.

Jean Murphy
Jean Ann Murphy, 84, of Kailua-Kona, died July 14, 2016, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Wyandotte, Mich., she was a retired Realtor for Clark Realty Corporation and a former flight attendant for American Airlines.
Private service were held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Kona, P.O. Box 4130, Kailua Kona, HI 96745.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon (Kim) Courtright; son, Brian Murphy, all of Kailua Kona; brothers, Charles (Joan) Bissett of California, William Bissett of Mississippi; one granddaughter.
