A body found June 30 in South Kohala has been identified as that of a Pahoa man who had been reported missing.
A body found June 30 in South Kohala has been identified as that of a Pahoa man who had been reported missing.
On June 25, the body of an unidentified man was found on the side of Kawaihae Road. On June 30, he was identified as 64-year-old Michael John David, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
David had been reported missing and had last been seen in Kalapana on May 20.
An autopsy conducted June 30 indicated no signs of foul play. The exact cause of death was deferred pending the results of further testing.
