Ban sunscreen sprays
I have been seeing a lot of people using aerosol spry sunscreens that mostly just blow away into the air. These sunscreens should be banned as they do more harm than good. People should first make sure the protection they are using is safe for the environment and does not contain harmful chemicals that can harm our marine life and coral. A sunscreen that pollutes the air is not a wise choice. If everyone was a bit more environmentally conscious, our place would be much better off for everyone. Our ocean would be less polluted and safer for all.

Seatbelt double standard
They are at it again, you can put your frail grandfather, your half-blind grandmother, your son and his girlfriend, your family goat and your dog on the most dangerous, deadly place on any vehicle — the back of your truck — that’s legal!
If you drive the same truck behind a secure steering wheel with airbag, two secure doors, closed, but not seat-belted, you get a ticket? Not long ago, six farmworkers were killed on Oahu — they all were on the back of a truck — legal! We did not hear much about them anymore, they were poor farmworkers. Years ago, I still farmed macnuts. I often picked up workers in a four door truck that I bought for that purpose only. Who were they? Wonderful, older, hardworking Philippino workers.
I insisted to deliver them inside my truck. I am not against seat belts, but against double standards. The only person permitted on the back of my truck, day or night, rain or shine, was my mother-in-law. Not often, she took advantage of that offer. Therefore I said then, as today — click-it-or ticket, why don’t they stick it?
