Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with the theft of merchandise from a Kona store on two days in June.
At about 8:20 a.m. on June 24, an unknown man removed merchandise from a store on the 74-5400 block of Makala Street in Kailua-Kona. At about 3:10 p.m. on June 26, the same man removed merchandise from the same store. The suspect’s images were captured on surveillance video, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
Anyone with information about this case or the identity of the man in the photo should call Officer Andrew Walters at 326-4646 or the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
