The U.S. Coast Guard has identified the three men missing after their fishing boat didn’t return to Haleiwa Harbor has planned.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Tara Molle said Monday the three are Jensen Loo, Clint Oshima and boat owner Derek Tomas. Molle says all three are 30 years old.

Molle says crews spotted an overturned boat matching the description of the missing vessel but they haven’t verified it’s the same one. It was a little windy in the search area northwest of Oahu but there was good visibility.

Molle says a helicopter, airplane and patrol boat have been looking for the men and their 20-foot vessel.

She says the group left Haleiwa on Oahu’s North Shore Sunday morning. They were supposed to return by 5 p.m. but didn’t.
