Modern version of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ comes to theater

Regal Cinemas in association with Hoku Concert Series presents Live in HD from the London stage a modern version of “Romeo and Juliet” Thursday in Kailua-Kona.

Captured live from London’s Garrick Theatre and presented in high-contrast black and white, the 7:30 p.m. Thursday play features Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company performing a modern take on Shakespeare’s timeless love story.
