A home was damaged and a Toyota sedan destroyed in a fire Tuesday in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

The fire was reported at 11:47 a.m. and firefighters were at residence at 15-1726 32nd Avenue at 11:54 p.m., according to the Hawaii Fire Department. Upon arrival the firefighters found “fire showing from the garage side of (the) structure,” according to a press release. There was also heavy black and grey smoke pouring out of the living room and bedroom area.

The fire was under control by 12:10 p.m. and extinguished by 12:20 p.m.

Damage was listed as $210,000 and the cause had yet to be undetermined.
