Ronald Clubb
Fr. Ronald E. Clubb, 86 of Minneapolis died June 23, 2016, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He was an educator, principal and priest and once served at St. Benedict and St. Michael the Archangel Churches.
He is survived by children, Kathryn (Linda), Joseph (Anne), John and son-in-law Jeff; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 28 at Church of the Holy Name in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Risen Christ Catholic School at 1120 East 37th St., Minneapolis MN 55407.

Mitsuyo Medeiros
Mitsuyo Medeiros, 95, died April 30, 2016. She was born Sept. 11, 1920.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. July 1 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. Urn burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Alae Cemetery. Dress will be casual.
She is survived by brothers, Sam (Ruth) Nakaoka, Masaichi (Mitch) Nakaoka, George Nakaoka; children, Lena (Cary) Garcia, Ralston (Bernie) Medeiros, Christy (Ray) Sambueno; 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Kahren Miller
Kahren “Muffy” Nottage Miller of Kula, Maui, died June 5, 2016, on Oahu. Born at Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, she served on the board for the Juvenile and American Diabetes Association, worked as a PCNC at Kula School and was a member of several halau.
She is survived by husband, Gerald Miller, sons, Kevin, Michael (Lisa), Alexander Miller, three grandchildren; siblings, David Nottage Jr., Samuel Nottage, Lolly Davis; daughter, Kristin Miller.
Friends may call at noon July 2 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Makawao, Maui for a 1 p.m. Mass. Burial follows at 2:15 p.m. at Saint Joseph Cemetery. Family requests flowers be omitted.
David Bennett
David Lyle Bennett, 68, of Honokaa died June 22, 2016. Born Oct. 29, 1947, in Oak Park, Ill., he was the editor and publisher of the Paradise Post newspaper.
He is survived by daughters, Jessica (Tuan) Pham of San Jose, Calif.; Jaime Beebe of Los Angeles; two grandchildren.

Jean Setsuko Youn, 63, of Keaau died on Friday, June 3, 2016, at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Japan, she was a housewife and animal rescuer.

Sumiho Horihata
Sumiho Horihata, 83, of Hilo died June 15, 2016, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of the former S &S Eggroll Restaurant in Michigan and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

He is survived by sisters-in-law, Joyce (Katsumi) Horihata, Utako (Keiya) Horihata; numerous nieces and nephews.

Elma Ellen Reott, 95, of Hilo died June 22, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 15, 1921, in Needles, Calif., she was a retired loan officer for Bank of America.

Shirley Ann Schantz, 83, of Kailua-Kona, died June 19, 2016. Born Feb. 12, 1933, in Waterbury, Ct., she was a beautician.
