Seniors attend free movie day

The Kailua-Kona Seniors will attend a free movie day at 10 a.m. Wednesday at West Hawaii Civic Center, Building A. The movie is open to all seniors. “The Intern,” a comedy starring Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway will be shown.

The group will not meet at Hale Halawai this week.

Learn to develop a business plan

Participants will learn how to develop a business plan or revise an existing one with step-by-step instructions offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kuakini Tower, 75-5722 Kuakini Highway, Suite 216.

The session also includes information on business plan financials.

Learn to prepare a will

Warren Chong, an independent associate with LegalShield, offers a basic estate planning workshop at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Suite Possibilities, Suite 102, in the Chamber of Commerce Building south of McDonald’s in Kailua-Kona.

A will questionnaire will help participants complete this important document. There is no fee to attend, however space is limited.

The will is one of the most important legal documents a person can give their family to clarify their wishes, yet, statistics show that 70-80 percent of the population does not have a current or up-to-date will.

Kids’ craft at Kealakekua library

On Friday, kids ages 5 and up with an adult are invited to make pretty paper flowers at Kealakekua Public Library. The program is free and all materials are provided.
