KOHALA COAST — The community is invited to attend a 10th anniversary event for The Shops at Mauna Lani on July 2 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
An annual event, Summer Fest features free activities including a Wave Rider water slide, rock climbing wall, carnival games and prizes. In addition, free carnival games for young and old — mini golf, basketball, balloon pop and beanbag toss — give everyone a chance to play.
Live entertainment will include a performance by Kozy the Comic Magician, music and contests with prizes emceed by DJ Ed Geer.
A variety of foods will be available for purchase during the festival, including sliders and gourmet hot dogs by Tommy Bahama, vegetarian treats from Under the Bodhi Tree, keiki meals at The Blue Room, acai bowls from Kimobean, among others.
Attendees can meet the Honokaa High School Jazz Band who will be serving complimentary cotton candy and popcorn, and support fundraisers for local sports teams including the Waimea Cowboys with the purchase of Braddah Pops.
