Pet pictures work

Pet pictures work

Your front page article June 14 “Say cheese” about HIHS adoptions being helped by glamour pet pictures was very timely. The previous week I happened to see a posting from a Facebook friend when she shared info and pictures from Kona Dog Lovers and Lisa Garske, one of the photographers mentioned in your article.

The photos were so amazing and I wasn’t even looking for a dog right now; maybe not until fall. But I was so taken by “Arnold,” I could not get him out of my mind. I met him two days later at HIHS and Lisa captured his personality perfectly with her amazing photos.

He is now named Gumbo and is a very happy member of my family. Mahalo for posting some fun and good news about HIHS. They were wonderful to work with! And a special mahalo to the two photographers; they are definitely helping dogs get adopted!
