James Ross
James Harold Ross, 68, of Kailua-Kona and also of Craig, Colorado, died May 23, 2016, at his Kailua-Kona residence. Born May 26, 1947, in Delta, Colo., he was the owner of Intermountain Real Estate, a real estate broker, member of Keauhou Canoe Club, Kona Elks Lodge and Living Stones Church.
Private service and canoe scattering of ashes to be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Kathleen Ross of Kailua-Kona and Craig, Colo.; son, Sterling (Sacha) Ross of San Diego; daughter, Allison (Mike) LeWarne of Craig, Colo.; sisters, Patricia (Clint) Stroud of Delta, Colo., Kristi Ross of Cortez, Colo.; four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Elroy Stupplebeen
Elroy Thomas Stupplebeen, 74, of Pukalani, Maui died May 23, 2016, at his residence. Born Sept. 17, 1941, in Hilo, he served as a police officer in the Honolulu, Molokai and Maui Police Departments and later started a private investigation company and went on to work for Goodfellow Brothers, Ameron Concrete, and Labor Union Local 368.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 18 at Ballard Mortuary for a 10 a.m. service. A Celebration of life will follow at noon at Paia Community Center. Family requests casual or aloha attire and no flowers. Condolences may be posted at ballardfamilymortuaries.com.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Sulenta; daughters, Tane (Nui) Kaili and Tia Stupplebeen; sons, Kapono (Marilyn) Stupplebeen and Spencer Rodrigues; sister, Zaza Kalahiki; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Christy Brehaut
Christy Ellen Brehaut, 60, of Kailua-Kona died May 20, 2016. Born Aug. 18, 1955, in Ohio, he owned and operated the Pearl Gallery in Kailua-Kona.
She is survived by her son, Dylan Brehaut of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Susan Decker of Kailua-Kona, Cathy Zibbel of Florida, Julie Sonz of Belleair Bluffs, Fla., Jodi Waits of Lexington, S.C.
