The 39-year-old woman was taken to the North Hawaii Community Hospital after the accident, said Chris Loos, media liason for the police department.
The case is under investigion as reckless endangering, illegal place to keep a pistol, and public accident case. The traffic accident itself also remains under investigation. as well as a traffic accident.
