Waikoloa Village celebrates 45 years Saturday with a Fun Fest at Waikoloa Stables.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event, sponsored by the Waikoloa Village Association, will feature live music, games, vendors and more, including door prizes. The free event is open to all ohana in Waikoloa Village. A blessing will be conducted by Danny “Kaniela” and Anna Akaka. Author, life coach and home owner Rosa Say will speak about aloha.
Providing entertainment are taiko drummers, Big Island Princess Parties, Christy Leilani Lassiter, Aulani’s Hula Halau, Carly Yoshida, Hawaii Aerial and Performing Arts, Sasha Knowles Hip Hop, Zumba Fitness, Daniel Toft, Yessica Avendano, Cirque Juggler, and DJ Marcelino Palafox. Activities will include a water slide, party bouncer, photo booth, Keiki ID, fish painting, balloons, coloring activities, keiki games and prizes, cooking and gardening demos, kupuna tent, massages and acupuncture.
An array of local restaurants will be providing food and refreshments, and vendors will also be showcasing their goods.
