The Mad Marlin Sports Bar and Kona-based rock band The Darkroom continues the First Friday original music showcase this evening in Kailua-Kona.
The Darkroom formed in Kona in 2009, released its self-titled EP in 2012, and has played shows all over the Big Island and Oahu. The band, comprised of Dylan Kai (lead guitar and vocals), Lee Bennett (drums and electronic arrangement), Chris Arnold (guitar and keyboard), and Matt Panzarino (bass and vocals), also supported international touring bands like Hoobastank in 2014, and Pepper in 2015.
The showcase gets underway at 9 p.m.
