Kona Arts Center plans an open house and art show Saturday to announce the center’s move to a new studio and gallery in Kainaliu.

The event runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center’s new location in Kainaliu Center, 79-7430 Mamalahoa Highway, Unit C-4.

A silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring donated items, such as a piece by noted artist and art instructor Annabel Spielman, as well as an original piece by Kona Arts Center’s co-founder, Uncle Bob Rogers. There will be a door prize drawing, which will include two months of memberships to join the center. Light pupu will be served.
