The 14th annual Big Island Senior Line Dance Roundup is just around the corner.
Kupuna from around the state will perform during the roundup slated 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 3 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo. Admission is free.
Sponsored by the Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation’s Elderly Activities Division, this year’s event is called “Can’t Stop Dancing.” Groups from Kona, Waimea, Hilo, Keaau, Pahoa and Mountain View will join visiting dancers from Oahu and Maui.
This year’s event will again feature the popular “mass dance” that gives audience members a chance to join in the fun.
