Hideshi “Dugan” Kinoshita, 91, of Hilo, died April 30, 2016, at his residence in Hilo. He was born in Honomu on April 17, 1925, and was retired from the former Hilo Coast Processing Company as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin Shin Buddhist Temple, Hilo Hooganji Buddhist Temple, Hiroshima Kenjin Kai, Kumamoto Doshi Kai, and was an avid golfer.
Private services held. No flowers. No Koden (monetary offerings).
He is survived by wife, Chiyono Kinoshita of Hilo; daughter, Beverly (Roger) Kinoshita-Patton of Las Vegas; son, Kyle (Laura) Kinoshita of San Marino, Calif.; brothers, Hitoshi Kinoshita of Pepeekeo, Hiroshi Robert (Ellen) Kinoshita of Hilo, and Takeshi (Florence) Kinoshita of Honolulu; sisters, Chieko “Betty” Goya of Honolulu, Eileen Yaeko Taguma of Honolulu, and Sueko “Suzie” (Alfred) Lee of Kailua, Oahu; four grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, grandnephews, and grandnieces.

William P. Pacheco, Jr., 79, of Xenia, Ohio, died Feb. 19, 2016, in Ohio. Born May 18, 1936, in Hilo, he was a veteran in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by sons, Grayson Pacheco, Derek Pacheco, both of Oahu, Brian Pacheco of Kauai, Jonathan Pacheco of Xenia, Ohio; daughter, Alicea DeGuzman of Oahu; stepdaughter, Tonya Bailey of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter Pacheco and Patrick of Hilo, Abraham (Terry) Pacheco of Oahu; numerous nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Sirinee Sugai, 52, of Captain Cook, died April 18, 2016, at her residence. Born on Oct. 16, 1963, in Chiang Rai, Thailand, she was a room attendant at Hotel King Kamehameha, Royal Kona Resort hotels, and Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa. She was a food waitress at Thai Rin, Bangkok Houses, and Taeng On Thai restaurants. She was a courtesy clerk at KTA and a pantry worker at the Kona Airport Restaurant.

She is survived by her husband, Neal Sugai of Captain Cook; sisters, Jun Daechaiwong of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Thida Thaothep of Captain Cook; 10 nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.

Clarence Fukunaga
Clarence Manabu Fukunaga, 89, of Keaau died April 25, 2016, at a private care home in Keaau. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Hawaiian Dredging, member of the Puna Hongwanji Mission and was retired from the U.S. Army.
Private services held. Family requests no flowers and no monetary gifts.
He is survived by son, Carlton (Pauline) Fukunaga of Hilo; brother, Douglas (Sally) Fukunaga of Honolulu; five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
