This free public event celebrates the unique traditional cultures of the Pacific island regions at the park’s visitor center. The event will include various cultural demonstrations, hands-on crafts, games, music, lectures, traditional weapons displays, and more.
This event is sponsored by Hawaii Pacific Parks Association and the Royal Order of Kamehameha — Kohala Chapter. It is held annually in May to help the public honor National Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
