Makua Lani Christian Academy recently held its May Day celebration. The event included the traditional celebration of the islands, dance and lots of flowers. Students visited different stations to engage in cultural activities, including konane, lei making, ulu maika, tapa printing, hula, artifact presentation, implements, lauhala weaving and ukulele.
