As a prelude to the November Hawaii Nei Art Exhibit, “Art Adventures” are being offered to the community. Next weekend, artists will have the opportunity to paint at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park in North Kona.

As a prelude to the November Hawaii Nei Art Exhibit, “Art Adventures” are being offered to the community. Next weekend, artists will have the opportunity to paint at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park in North Kona.

The free event gets underway at 9 a.m. May 7 with a short hike from Honokohau Harbor along the coastline of Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park. Participants will learn about the Aimakapa Fishpond, an important wetland area and historical loko ia in North Kona.
