Christopher Allen
Christopher Cantu Allen, 54, of Kailua-Kona died April 25, 2016. Born Aug. 25, 1961, in Clovis, N.M., he was a Navy veteran and worked as a finish carpenter. He was a member of the Kona Orchid Society, the American Pool Association, the Carpenter’s Union and volunteered giving horseback rides to handicapped children.
A celebration of life is planned from 11 a.m. to noon April 30 at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Kailua-Kona, followeded by a reception and potluck at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Horsemanship of Hawaii, 73-1417 Kahakea Place, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. Condolences may be posted at ballardfamilymortuaries.com.
He is survived by father, Carl Allen of Arizona; mother, Amanda Moore of Arizona; brothers C.J. Allen Jr., Billy, Johnny, and Danny of Arizona; sister, Becky of Arizona.

Ian Pierce Haight, 53, of Kihei, Maiu, died April 9, 2016, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 22, 1962, in Honolulu, he lived in Waimea from 1973-2010.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 30 at Kahilu Town Hall in Waimea for a celebration of life.
He is survived by parents, Suzanne and Warren Haight; son, Spencer Haight; daughter, Mariah Haight; sister, Paula Haight; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lisa Nihipali-Wailani
Lisa Kaimi Nihipali-Wailani, 51, of Hilo died April 10, 2016, at The Queen’s Medical Center. Born Jan. 5, 1965, in Nanakuli, Oahu, she was a stay home mother for numerous hanai children, and a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hilo.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 30 at at New Hope Hilo for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed. Cremation will follow at Dodo Mortuary.
She is survived by husband, Darren Wailani of Hilo; daughters, Kehaulani (Randall) Wailani Nihipali of Keaau, Kuuleilani (Chris) Wailani Nihipali, Kanani (Ralph) Wailani Nihipali; Kahealani (Leilani) Wailani Nihapali, all of Hilo; sons, Kalina Wailani Nihipali; Kaika Nihipali-Wailani, both of Hilo; seven grandchildren; numerous sisters and a brother; numerous nieces and nephew; numerous hanai children.

Lillian Nani “Lani” Larita, 72, of Hilo died April 20, 2016, at home. Born April 3, 1944, in Puna, she was a homemaker, member of Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Luau Hale Senior Citizens Club and Alu Like’s Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna Program.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 3 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo for a 10 a.m. prayer service. Burial will follow at noon at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. aloha or casual attire be worn.
She is survived by son, Cristoto Larita Jr.; brothers, Gilbert Keliihoomalu, Albert Keliihoomalu; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
