A man was arrested on a contempt of court charge, then officers found he had a two-way radio belonging to a county agency.
Winson Reiong, 26, Hilo, was arrested on Wednesday morning. Police found the radio had been missing since April 22.
He is being held until his initial court appearance scheduled for today.
