Folklorist and author Margaret Read MacDonald will share tales from her many picture books Wednesday in North Kohala and Kailua-Kona.
The 45-minute program “Fat Cats, Magical Roosters and Pesky Fairies” features audience participation and is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
MacDonald will first share her tales in Kapaau at the North Kohala Public Library starting at 10 a.m. She then heads to the Kailua-Kona Public Library for a 3 p.m. session.
