Maui police Lt. William Juan told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://bit.ly/1MHZjak ) that Tuesday night’s attack happened at the Foodland Kehalani supermarket in Wailuku.

Maui Fire Department spokesman Edward Taomoto told the newspaper that firefighters were called shortly after 6 p.m. to treat multiple people who were injured in the stabbing. He didn’t know how many people were hurt.
