Garrett Peters Sr.
Garrett “Gary-O” Kealoha Peters Sr. 73, of Waimea died April 7, 2016, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1942, in Honolulu, he was a retired carpenter, owner of Sound of Hawaii and Honu Farms, an ukulele maker, farmer and member of Big Island Ukulele Guild.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 22 at Mana Christian Ohana Church at Kahilu Town Hall for an 11 a.m. service. A luncheon will follow. Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 1613, Kamuela, HI 96743.
He is survived by wife, Sylvia Correa Peters or Waimea; son, Garrett (Stephanie) Peters Jr. of Waimea; daughters, Donna (Peter) Jacob of Paauilo, Debbra (Marc) Hasegawa, Deanna Peters, Denise (Rodney) Willis, Leimomi Peters, Lahela Peters, Lehuanani Peters, all of Waimea, Leialoha (George) Shiroma of Las Vegas; sisters, Evangeline Kalakaua of Honolulu, Cynthia (David) Bacus of California; brother, Clayton (Kelly) Estrella of Minnesota; 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Jaime Daluson
Jaime Valenzuela Daluson, 98, of Pahoa died March 16, 2016, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Feb. 27, 1918, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and was a member of New Hope Hilo.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 23 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Burial follows at Alae Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Severina Daluson of Pahoa; sons, Dominador (Angie) Daluson of Honolulu, Robert (Sharon) Daluson of Hilo; daughter, Nora (Rudy) Salvador of Honolulu; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas Sing
Thomas “Tommy” Kam Sing, 84, of Waimea died March 15, 2016, at his residence. Born June 22, 1931, in Honolulu, he was the president of Graphic Communications International Union Local 501, executive board member of Hawaii Dental Service, vice president of Hawaii State AFL-CIO, board member of Hawaii Public Television, business manager of Civil Service City and County of Honolulu, and a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. April 23 at Diamond Head Mortuary for a 10:30 a.m. celebration of life. An urn burial will follow at 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Family requests aloha attire. Condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com
