Part of Queens’ Marketplace’s Monthly Mini-Concert Series, Apokolani takes the stage from 6 to 8 p.m.
Keoki Apokolani Carter is a musician and composer, who has been honored as a Na Hoku Hanohano Award finalist. His original music ranges from Hawaiian kihoalu slack key and baritone ukulele, to island contemporary and jazz. He will be accompanied by jazz musician Paul Lindbergh on the saxophone and flute, and Yvonne Yarber Carter on vocals.
