WAIMEA – Community Policing Officers braved the dunk tank for a good cause Saturday in Waimea.

After a torch walk from Church Row to KTA, officers took turns getting plunged into icy water to raise funds for Special Olympics West Hawaii. Athletes lent a hand and took turns trying to hit the bull’s-eye with small rubber balls.

The 31st annual Troy Barboza Torch Run will be held April 30 in Kona.
