Let’s Ferment a Farmacy is planned from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday with Daniel Lewis, Lewis will share the process for making the best fermentations and provide recipes and information about the healthy benefits of fermentation. Bring a small, Mason jar for taking home samples if there is extra.

A chair tai chi and chi kung class is planned from 1:30 to 2:30 pm every Monday with Cathleen Rickard. Simple yet effective hand and leg movements, postures and gentle deep breathing and pressure point techniques will be introduced. This class works well for seniors, physically challenged persons, and folks recovering from surgeries and living with injuries. Participants may attend in a wheelchair.

You Make Sense to Me will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Amy Elizabeth and Marc Gordon continue their series on communication skills. Attendees should join, whether they have been to previous sessions. Bring writing tools. Couples and individuals are welcome.

Basic Estate Planning 101 is from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14 or 2 to 3 p.m. Satursday, April 16 with John G. Roth, local estate planning attorney with Hawaii Trust and Law Counsel. Estate planning is the process of putting together a plan, which will allow someone to step into your shoes to manage your assets and carry out your wishes in the event of your incapacity or death.

A chair yoga class is planned from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Fridays April 15, 22 and 29, with Michiko Sato. The class is for those who need a gentle and slow yoga in a chair practice. The movements are designed to stretch and strengthen the body without standing or lying on the mat.
