Kona author T.L. Tabor has just released the sixth book in her “Death, Diamonds, And Dirty Socks” kids adventure series.

“Vessel Of Safety” continues the adventures of Jarod Dailey, a 13-year-old boy who inherits an old pair of socks form his grandfather that allow him to put on anybody’s shoes and connect with them — dead or alive. Together with his best friend, Tommy, they delve deeper into Grandpa’s mansion and discover hidden areas and rare items Grandpa has left behind for the family, along with the magic they hold. As with all things of rare and great power, there are those that want to steal it from them.

It is the last book of the series for 2016, Tabor says.

“I feel like there are three more books still in me to write in this series to finish it off, but they will have to wait at least a year while I work on my other novels,” she said.

The series is aimed at tween readers, children ages 9 to 14, who’ve outgrown simple children’s chapter books but are not quite ready for the teen romances and angst of young adult books.
