Kona author featured at Zen Temple

Daifukuji Buddhist Temple will host a book signing 1 p.m. Sunday.

Richard Gentei Diedrichs will sign his latest book “Living in Blue Sky Mind: Basic Buddhist Teachings for a Happy Life” published by MSI Press. The book offers simple lessons, questions for reflection, and anecdotes of personal transformation. Diedrichs has written four books.

He will also be the guest speaker for the Buddha’s Birthday service at Daifukuji which will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Daifukuji is next to Teshima’s Restaurant in Honalo and all are welcome attend the service as well.
