An Easter Sunrise Service, inter-denominational Easter Service, and free family activities are planned this weekend during the 2016 “Easter In The Park” event.
An Easter Sunrise Service, inter-denominational Easter Service, and free family activities are planned this weekend during the 2016 “Easter In The Park” event.
Saturday focuses on a “bring your own picnic,” as well as a variety of games for the whole family from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday kicks off with the Sunrise Service from 6-7 a.m. hosted by Imiola Church of Waimea. The general Easter service, hosted by New Hope Waimea Christian Fellowship, begins at 10 a.m. A no-charge family-style pot blessing, music, Easter egg hunt, and activities for the keiki round out the event.
All events will be held in a big tent on Saturday and Sunday at Church Row in Waimea.
