Kona Spring Fest, a family friendly community event welcoming the spring season, is Sunday at Old Kona Airport in Kailua-Kona.
The event will feature bouncy houses, games, activities, crafts, face-painting, vendors, food and drinks, as well as a free Easter egg hunt at noon. The community event benefiting Kuleana Education and Kona Moms is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the soccer field fronting Kuakini Highway.
In addition, Big Island Princess Parties, featured recently on West Hawaii Today’s front page, will be there with special princess appearances and games, musician Keoni Thompson will perform, swag bags will be given to the first 25 moms to arrive, and prizes for both kids and parents throughout the day.
Tickets will be used to take part in activities and games. Tickets purchased before the event at www.konaspringfest.eventbrite.com are 20 percent off; tickets will be available at the event, as well.
Attendees should bring a pop-up tent, blanket and chairs.
