William Jossy
William “Billy” Jay Jossy, 30, of Kailua-Kona died March 8, 2016, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1985, in Long Beach, Calif., he was a tradesman in the construction industry.
Scattering of ashes will be at 5:30 p.m. March 19 at Napoopoo pier. Refreshments will follow at the family’s Napoopoo beach house. Information: 328-9982 or 990-5310.
He is survived by companion, Rebecca Pacheco; son, Rainen Jossy; hanai daughter, Ariel Wong Yuen; mother, Souphiep (Charlie Camacho) Souen; father, Steven Jossy, all of Kailua Kona; sister, Souphon (Mab) Chan of Denver; grandmother, Carol Jossy of Kailua-Kona; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew.

Maureen Brown
Maureen Brown, 82, of Waikoloa, died March 11, 2016, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born July 19, 1933, in Yorkshire, England, she was a retired secretary for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, member of Annunciation Parish of Puako, Red Hat Society and Waikoloa Women’s Golf Club. She was also a Waikoloa Bookmobile volunteer.
Private service to be held. Memorial donations may be made to Annunciation Parish of Puako.
She is survived by daughters, Deborah (Brian) Bartle of California, Elizabeth Brown of North Carolina; son, Robert (Nancy Adams) Brown of New York; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
