Hawaii Island police have located 22-year-old Kainoa Lindo of Hookena, who was wanted for questioning in connection with a stolen pickup truck.

Hawaii Island police have located 22-year-old Kainoa Lindo of Hookena, who was wanted for questioning in connection with a stolen pickup truck.

Lindo was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Captain Cook on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is being held at the Kona police cellblock while detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations Section continue the investigation.

The truck was stolen Jan. 29 from the parking lot of an apartment complex on Alii Drive. Police recovered it in Hookena on March 8.
