Amateur and professional authors from the community will take part in “For the Love of Words,” a public reading, book signing and sales event on Saturday in Waimea.
Some of the authors are published, some are hopeful, and some just love to put words to paper for the joy of harnessing the power of human language and molding the written word into interesting and beautiful shapes and forms. The three-hour free event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Kahilu Theatre. Participation is limited to 60 attendees.
