Award-winning comedian, actor and author Craig Shoemaker is Big Island-bound to headline the laughs at a one-man standup comedy special March 25 at Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

Best known to standup comedy fans for his iconic, baritone-voiced character “The Lovemaster,” comedian Craig Shoemaker is a natural storyteller, prolific mimic and insightful observational humorist whose comedy stylings have entertained four U.S. presidents, produced critically acclaimed standup specials for HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, NBC, CBS and earned him an ABC American Comedy Award for “Best Male Standup.”

Seen in recurring roles on prime time network sitcoms and dramas like “Parks &Recreation” and “The Bold &the Beautiful,” he has also co-starred in numerous studio and indy films like “Scream 2,” the cult hit “Totally Baked” and “The LoveMaster.” His spot-on voice-over skills have been featured in a number of animated series and the film “Pleasantville.”
