KAILUA-KONA— The body of the woman who was dragged under water in the Wailuku River has been identified.

Jolee Reiswig, 62, of Kailua-Kona, was swimming in the upper pond at Boiling Pots with a man when she was dragged in by the strong current on Sept. 14. Her remains were found in a tide pool on Feb. 14, police said. Dental records confirmed her identity.

The man was able to make it to the bank. The accident occurred during a flood warning for the area. The search went for five days, including divers, shore patrols and a helicopter.
