KEAHOLE — Konawaena Elementary School second grade students were the last pupils to tour the Astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka Space Center Friday before its closure next month.

KEAHOLE — Konawaena Elementary School second grade students were the last pupils to tour the Astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka Space Center Friday before its closure next month.

Curator Nancy Tashima thanked all of the teachers who have brought their students to the center located at Kona International Airport for the past 25 years.

“Their support has been outstanding” she said. “Keep teaching Ellison’s legacy.”
