KIHEI, Maui (AP) — Authorities say a Maui police officer is being investigated on domestic abuse allegations.
Hawaii News Now reports (https://bit.ly/1Q2TYJR ) that 31-year-old Carlos Frate with the Kihei Patrol District has been charged with violating a warning citation. Police say the citation was issued as a result of the domestic abuse investigation.
Frate has been assigned to desk duties.
