Police are asking the public for any information on a 62-year-old Kailua-Kona woman who went missing last fall while swimming in Wailuku River at Boiling Pots.
Jolee Reiswig was last seen in Hilo in the early evening hours on Sept. 14, 2015. She had been swimming with a companion in the river when she was last seen. The man was able to make it to the river bank. Police and fire rescue personnel searched five days for the woman, but found no sign of her.
Police said they are renewing their request for information before suspending the missing persons case.
Reiswig is described as 5-foot-2, 110 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
