Volcano Art Center’s annual gala, “Love the Arts,” is 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 13 in Volcano. This year’s theme is “m’ARTi Gras.”
The event will also feature silent and live auctions offering an array of art, jewelry, and gift certificates to restaurants, hotels, adventure tours and more. Attendees will also be able to bid on artwork by Meg Barnaby, Liz Miller, Gregg Smith and others.
Monies raised will be used for arts and cultural education, as well as programs and classes/workshops. The gala will be held at VAC’s Hale Hoomana.
Volcano Art Center’s master chef will cater a menu consisting of a wide array of New Orleans’ delicacies like jambalaya, shrimp and grits, beef basted with praline butter, Antoine’s classic Caesar salad and truffles. Champagne and fine wines will also be served.
