Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened another man Sunday afternoon in Hilo.

A 57-year-old California man reported that he was threatened at 2:30 p.m. while in a parking lot on the 2100 block of Kanoelehua Avenue.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the man in the photo to call the Hawaii Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
