Artists in grades 6-12 (ages 11-17) in North and South Kohala and Hamakua are invited to enter the 32nd annual Na Opio Youth Art Show & Competition.
Sponsored by the Waimea Arts Council at the Firehouse Gallery in Waimea, the show celebrates National Youth Art Month. Show dates are March 2-26. A reception will be held 3-5 p.m. March 6.
Entries may be submitted 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 24-27 at Waimea Art Center. Students are limited to submitting one piece of art in any medium that was completed during this school year. It must also be framed and ready to hang. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 28-inches-by-28-inches. Three-dimensional art must be able to fit on an 18-inch pedestal.
