Kona’s newest locally owned coffee shop will hold a grand opening event featuring live music and art today.
The Sweet Spot — Coffee, Art &Soul will offer live music throughout the day featuring local singer/songwriters Ellen Keehan and Kristin Lagasse. Attendees can also enjoy watching art in the making with live painting by local artists. Free coffee and other samples, as well as drawings for prizes, will take place throughout the day.
The free event runs 7 a.m. to sunset at the coffee shop, 75-159 Lunapule Road, No. 7, in Kailua-Kona.
