Amy Hanaialii will return to the Kahilu Theatre stage to perform once again, this time with her full voice.
Hanaialii was experiencing throat issues when she performed in December and was not able to produce her signature sound at the concert. She wanted to properly share her hai, or Hawaiian falsetto, with her North Hawaii fans.
All ticket purchasers for the December event have been provided an opportunity to reserve replacement seats at no charge and tickets are now open to the public for purchase.
The makeup concert is 7 p.m. Feb. 5.
Hanaialii is the state’s top-selling female vocalist of all time. She has earned a multitude of awards and acknowledgements, including five Grammy nominations for Best Hawaiian Music Album.
