Moriaki Ogawa
Moriaki Ogawa, 87, of Hilo died Jan. 9, 2016, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born Jan. 28, 1928, in Hilo, he was retired from Kuwaye Trucking Co. as a warehouseman and driver, was proprietor of T. Ogawa Orchids in Hilo, member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, and an Army veteran.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 31 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 4 p.m. service. Casual attire is requested.
He is survived by sons, Wane (Kerry) Ogawa, Brian (Candie) Ogawa, both of Keaau, Ken Ogawa of Hilo; daughter, Karen (Bert) Kami of Honolulu; brother, Yoshiaki Ogawa of Hilo; sister, Sachie Fukuda of Hilo; five grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Norma R. Fergerstrom, 85, of Hilo died Jan. 3, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 1, 1930, in Hilo, she was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

She is survived by sons, Arnold (Elsie Quiocho) Fergerstrom of Hilo, Victor (Gayle) Fergerstrom of Waimea; sisters, Betty Jane (Buddy) Kamehaiku, Pearl Peralto, both of Hilo, Evelyn Peralto of Honolulu; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louis “Lugi” Robert Trout, 66, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 20, 2016, at his home. Born Oct. 21, 1949, in Lansing, Mich., he was a business owner, farmer and laborer.
