Robotics design review planned at NELHA
The monthly tech pau hana lecture series presents its fifth annual robotics design review from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority Gateway Energy Center, 73-4485 Kahilihili St.
Several area high schools are competing in the FIRST Robotics Challenge this year. Kealakehe High School’s robotics team the Tiki Techs will present their design plans and ask the community for feedback.
Attendees should bring a pupu and non-alcoholic drinks to share during an informal potluck after the review.
The program is part of a monthly pau hana series for people interested in science and technology in West Hawaii. All are welcome.

Cancer support group meets
A cancer support group meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Teshima’s Restaurant in Honalo.
People newly diagnosed with cancer and cancer survivors, their caregivers and supportive family members are welcome.
The group meets to share cancer issues and to lend support to one another. Women are encouraged to learn about breast cancer risks and early detection.
