Threat made against Big Island judge, police say

Big Island police are working with state and federal authorities to investigate “an allegation of a threat against a judge on Hawaii Island,” the Hawaii Police Department said in a statement issued Thursday evening.

Police said they received information Monday there may be a threat against a sitting judge. Officers are investigating the threat as first-degree terroristic threatening.

Police did not identify the judge who was allegedly threatened.
