Kia Ahi, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Polynesian music and dance, will hold Tahitian dance class open enrollment starting Thursday and continuing through Feb. 11 at the Waimea Community Center.

Kia Ahi, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Polynesian music and dance, will hold Tahitian dance class open enrollment starting Thursday and continuing through Feb. 11 at the Waimea Community Center.

A keiki class, geared to children ages 5 to 10 years old are held 5:30-6 p.m.; an all ages class, aimed at students at least 11 years old, runs 6-7 p.m. Participants should bring a pareo, bottle water, small towel, paper and pen. Parents of keiki (children) are asked to be present during Thursday practices.
